About Helichrysum Essential Oil:
Helichrysum Essential Oil France (Helichrysum italicum), has a musky, slightly honey-sweet, pleasantly pungent aroma. Some describe it as tea like and delicate. This is a very fine quality Helichrysum oil that is grown and distilled in the Mediterranean climate of Southern France. Helichrysum italicum oil is ideal for blending with Peppermint and other minty essential oils.
Action and Traditional Uses for Helichrysum Essential Oil:
Anticoagulant, anesthetic, dissolves hematomas (blood clots), mucolytic, expectorant, antispasmodic, stimulates liver, reduces scar tissue and skin discoloration. It balances blood pressure, chelates chemicals and toxins. Helichrysum has been studied by European researchers for regenerating tissue and nerves and improving circulation and skin conditions.
Indications Other Uses and Application for Helichrysum Essential Oil:
Hematoma (swelling or blood-filled tumor), bleeding, arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis, hypertension, congestive heart failure, cardic arrhythmias, thrombosis, embolisms, liver disorders, phlebitis, sciatica, sinus infection, and skin conditions (eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis). This oil may help blood circulation, hearing loss, pain (acute), respiratory conditions, scar tissue, and varicose veins. It may regenerate tissue, detoxify and stimulate liver cell function. Application: Diffuse. Apply topically around the outside of the ear, the temples, the forehead, the back of the neck, or on location.
