About Lime Expressed Mexico Water Soluble Essential Oil:

Lime Expressed Mexico Water Soluble Essential Oil (Citrus aurantifolia), NOT A FOOD GRADE PRODUCT.  This Is A Effective Proprietary Surfactant Blend For Oils and Water To Maintain Transparent Solution.  Our unique surfactant makes an excellent Water Soluble product for those creative projects requiring a water base. It’s worth noting that some settling may occur, we recommend shaking vigorously before use. Please note that this is a water soluble product that has been blended with surfactant.

PLEASE NOTE:  WATER SOLUBLE ESSENTIAL OILS ARE NOT PURE ESSENTIAL OILS, THEY HAVE BEEN BLENDED WITH A SURFACTANT IN ORDER TO ENABLE THEM TO BE MIXED WITH WATER. 

Alabama Essential Oils have the resources now for developing an entire line of Water Soluble Essential Oils for ease of use in your water based finished products.  These water soluble concentrates have been blended with surfactant to give a homogeneous, transparent solution. Of course more than a 1 : 1 ratio with water can be used in order to get the desired odor strength if mixing with equal parts water is still too strong.  Please note that these water soluble concentrates are to be used in manufacturing products for external use only and not for internal use.  All of Alabama Essential Oil’s water soluble Essential Oils are made by blending the corresponding Essential Oil with the Essential Oil surfactant. Currently we have the below Water Soluble Essential Oil concentrates available.  If you would like us to develop a water soluble Essential Oil for you that is not in the list then let us know and we will be happy to do and add it to the list below.

Lime oil is often divided into two categories, expressed and steam distilled.  Steam distilled Lime oil is clean with a typical citrus, fruity, fresh aroma.  Expressed Lime oils tend to produce a darker oil with sweeter notes and faint lemon nuances.
