Action: Vetiver is antiseptic, antispasmodic, calming, grounding, a rubefacient (locally warming), a sedtive (nervous system), and a stimulant (circulatory, production of red corpuscles). Traditional Uses: It is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties and is traditionally used for arthritic symptoms.
