Cassia Essential Oil China (Cinnamomum cassia), is the typical cinnamon marketed in North America. The leaves and twigs of are steam distilled leaving a sweet, spicy, woody aromatic oil. The wonderful aroma is a favorite when creating seasonal blends. It’s very important to note that this oil can cause skin irritation if used directly or not diluted properly. NOTE: While its aroma is similar to cinnamon, Cassia is chemically and physically quite different.
