About Petitgrain Essential Oil Bigarade:
Petitgrain Essential Oil Bigarade Italy (Citrus aurantium), has a soft, herbal, and floral like the aroma similar to crushed orange leaves. Linalool notes make this a great oil for blending with Lavender. It’s believed that, through direct inhalation, Petitgrain oil can alleviate stress and soothe away depressed emotions. Interestingly, Petitgrain is derived from the same tree as Neroli. The flowers of the tree are cultivated to produce Neroli the leaves and twigs are used to make Petitgrain.
Action Traditional Uses and Application for Petitgrain Essential Oil:
Action: Petitgrain is antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-infectious, and antibacterial. Traditional Uses: Petitgrain derives its name from the extraction of the oil, which at one time was from the green unripe oranges when they were still about the size of a cherry.
Application: Diffuse or apply topically.
