About Spruce Essential Oil:

Spruce Essential Oil Canada (Picea mariana), native to the eastern coast of the United States and Canada, Black Spruce’s needles and twigs are put through steam distillation to capture the woody, herbal balsamic aroma.  While great on its own, Black Spruce oil also blends well with Cypress, Myrrh, or other woody, smoky oils to add a boosted woody character.

ACTION TRADITIONAL USES AND INDICATIONS FOR SPRUCE ESSENTIAL OIL:

Action:  Spruce is antispasmodic, anti-infectious, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, hormone-like, cortisone-like, a general tonic, and it stimulates thymus. Traditional Uses:  The Lakota Indians used spruce to strengthen their ability to communicate with the Great Spirit. Indications:  Arthritis, candida, hyperthyroidism, immune depression, prostatitis and rheumatism.

OTHER USES APPLICATION AND FRAGRANT INFLUENCE FOR SPRUCE ESSENTIAL OIL:

Other Uses:  Spruce may be beneficial for bone pain, glandular imbalances, aching joints, and sciatica pain. It may help support the nervous system and respiratory system, and can be stimulating to the pineal, thymus, and adrenal glands. Application:  Diffuse or apply topically. Add to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement or flavoring. Fragrant Influence:  Spruce oil helps and release emotional blocks, bringing about a feeling of balance.
