Lavandin Essential Oil Grosso France (Lavandula x hybrida), is sweeter, less floral, and features camphor body notes compared to that of Lavender. This is a beautiful oil and an excellent product that has been imported direct from France where it was grown and distilled.
Action and Traditional Uses for Lavandin Essential Oil Grosso:
Lavandin is antibacterial, antifungal, and a strong antiseptic. As suggested by its botanical name, Lavandula x hybrida, lavandin is a hybrid plant developed by crossing true lavender with spike lavender or aspic (Lavandula latifolia). It has been used to sterilize the animal cages in veterinary clinics and hospitals throughout Europe.
Indications Other Uses and Application for Lavandin Essential Oil Grosso:
There is not a long history of the therapeutic use of lavandin. Lavandin is best used as an antiseptic. Its greater penetrating qualities make it well suited to help with respiratory, circulatory, and muscular conditions. Application: Diffuse or apply topically.
Fragrant Influence: It has the similar calming effects as Lavender but is slightly harsher.
