Dr. Charles Brusch, who was President John K. Kennedy’s personal physician, is credited with developing the eight-herb essiac formula in partnership with Rene Caisse. This formula includes the original four essiac herbs plus an additional four herbs which were added to enhance the formula’s effectiveness. This essiac formula is the result of eight years of research performed from 1959 through 1967 at the Brusch Medical Research Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Ultimate Essiac is the result of eight years of research performed by Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch. They are the source through which all genuine essiac originated. Their work resulted in the development of an essiac formula consisting of eight herbs in a specific ratio. This formula includes the original four essiac herbs plus an additional four herbs which were added. We exclusively use this herb formula in Ultimate Essiac.

Ultimate Essiac is finely powdered in order to maximize its potential absorption. The powdered herbs are able to be left in the water after the brewing process, which allows for them to be ingested rather than strained out and thrown away.

Brewing Instructions: Bring 68 ounces of spring water to a boil in a stainless steel pot (2 quarts of water plus an additional 4 oz). Reduce heat to medium and add contents of one packet (2 oz. or 56 grams of herbs-this box contains three 2 oz packets). Simmer 10 minutes, strring occasionally. Remove from heat. Leave tea at room temperature for 12 hours. Do not strain out the herbs (they are essential for the tea’s effectiveness). Pour into a container and store in the refrigerator.

Dosage Recommendations: For complete directions and suggested use of this product, see packaging insert. Adults: Suggested aggressive dose is 3oz of brewed tea three times per day on any empty stomach. Suggested maintenance dose is 2oz. of brewed tea twice per day.
