About Bergamot Essential Oil:
Bergamot Essential Oil Italy (Citrus bergamia), aroma is rich, sweet, and fruity with its middle notes being slightly herbaceous and somewhat balsamic. The freshness of the top notes is due to terpenes and small amounts of citral and aliphatic aldehydes. Unlike other citrus oils, Bergamot oil has a fixative effect when used in high concentrations. The main chemical constituent of Bergamot is Linalylacetate, and its odor is naturally well balanced through the presence of coumarin derivatives. Many of our aromatherapists like to use Bergamot due to the belief that Bergamot can help boost the mind and ease worried thoughts. It’s also great for blending with Cilantro and other citrus oils.
